Andy Tucker

Andy Tucker was born in Cheltenham and has lived in Bishops Cleeve for the majority of his life.  After leaving Cleeve School at 16 he joined Cheltenham Town Football Club as a professional football player. Andy spent six seasons at Cheltenham Town FC and then signed for Gloucester City FC, where he spent five seasons.

He finished his career captaining Bishops Cleeve FC for his last five seasons. Andy is married to Carolyn and has two children, Archie and Evie. Archie is already following in his Dad’s footsteps with a big passion for football.

During his time at Cheltenham Town FC, Andy decided to complete his coaching qualification in his spare time. Andy Tucker Soccer Camps was established in 1994, and has gone on to achieve great success throughout Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

ATSC now cover over 50 schools in these areas and on an average week over 1,800 children attend one of the many sessions on offer. ATSC provide weekly sessions, after school clubs, holiday camps, in school sessions and birthday parties. They also cater for pre-school children, through the name of SupaStrikers, which Andy set up in 2004 for fun based toddler football sessions.
